In this session, I’ll be teaching a trending floral technique - using a floral frog! This Ikebana inspired technique is a traditional method dating back to the 14th century. This is a relaxing, simple tutorial that will open your eyes to other ways of arranging flowers - no prior floral skill is needed, only a willingness to try new things!

Are you in a season of mothering your babies and little ones? As a mother of eight, ages one to sixteen, I know well the long days of mothering littles. I hope to give you words of encouragement and a few practical tips as you mother through this short, seemingly long, season God has you in.

Sitting all day can be tough on our bodies. Walking is a great way to relax and allow yourself some time to enjoy God’s creation while giving yourself a bit of fresh air and exercise.

This workshop will practically equip you to serve and bless others with meals in their season of need. We will also see how the Lord uses this sometimes mundane task to bless our own hearts!

Parenting With Excellence: How to Avoid Mediocrity in Your Parenting

Many parents work on the outward behavior of their children but I will be focusing my talk on the subtleties of parenting with a purpose.

Life is a continuance of seasons, change after change, followed by another change. Some are glorious; others more challenging. Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 is a beautiful reminder that God is in control. Take comfort in the fact that He is unchanging, and has appointed a time for every event under the sun. As we face each new season, it can feel like a powerful ocean wave that knocks us off of our feet. Christ can keep us steadfast through the waves that rush upon our lives through His proven faithfulness and the powerful words He has given in Scripture. Big changes can make us feel small and alone leaving us with tunnel vision of all the challenges that we are facing. We will look into the truths of Scripture and find practical ways to assist in creating a foundation to be fixed upon when the inevitable changes of life come.

Writing or teaching Bible studies can seem a daunting task for women without seminary education but the fact is, God has called us to teach that which is good in a way that transforms homes, churches, and communities as women grow in godliness through studying His Word. This seminar will focus on the practical steps we can take to be like Ezra who "set his heart to study, to do, and teach" the Bible by Examining exhaustively, Applying accurately, and Teaching transformatively.

Sin has damaged every relationship, and the relationship between the immaterial and material parts of ourselves is no exception. The cultural air we breathe is thick with the murk of Gnosticism, and lies about our bodies too often seep into our souls. In this session, we will first shine the lamp of scripture on the subject of our bodies, and then we will apply the truth to scenarios from some of the most pressing issues of our day.
